Request
a Training from MPP
The following information outlines
the process for requesting and receiving an MPP training.
We hope to make it as easy and painless as possible. With
your help we will provide an excellent training based on your
needs.
Thank
You!
The Minnesota Participation Project would like to thank you
for your interest in our trainings and clinics. We feel they
can be a vital resource and provide valuable information and
tools for all aspects of voter mobilization.
Bringing an MPP Training to your Neighborhood:
It’s easy! Just follow these 5 simple steps:
Step 1: Make a Request: Contact MPP to request a training.
Call Joshua
Winters, 651-642-1904 x250, or email josh@mncn.org
Step 2: Cast a Wide Net: We do an initial
inquiry about what kind of turnout can be expected. We will
work with you to ensure there are enough people at the training
to maximize our efforts.
Step 3: Confirm: We will confirm a trainer and a date,
and work with you on a location and other details. Ideally,
this step will be reached within 3-5 days of your request.
Step 4: Coordinate Logistics: We will work with you
up until the day of the training on all the logistical details.
We will seek your help for things like:
• Finding a location
• Site setup and teardown
• Turnout
• Food and beverages
Step 5: The Training: The trainer will show up with
materials we provide, and everyone will learn a tremendous
amount and have fun doing it!
What we need from you:
In order for the training to be successful, we’ll be counting
on you to:
1. Secure a location for the training.
2. Assist us in inviting and confirming participants.
3. Help us with setup and teardown, and food
and beverages as needed.
4. Fill out a brief evaluation form to let us
know how we can improve.
Thank you again for coming to us, we will work hard to provide
the best possible training for you and your organization.
