The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) is the statewide association of almost 2,000 nonprofit organizations. Through its Web site, resource publications, workshops and events, cost-saving programs and advocacy, MCN continually works to inform, promote, connect and strengthen individual nonprofits and the nonprofit sector.

General Operating Support
By making a charitable donation to MCN's general fund, you will be supporting education of nonprofit staff, board members and volunteers so that they can effectively meet the needs of their constituents and communities. You will help MCN ensure that public officials, government agencies, the media and the general public have timely, accurate and relevant information about the sector.

Minnesota Budget Project
MCN's Minnesota Budget Project provides independent research, analysis and advocacy on state and federal budget and tax issues, emphasizing their impact on low- and moderate-income Minnesotans and the organizations that servce them. (www.mncn.org/bp)

Minnesota Participation Project
MCN's Minnesota Participation Project (MPP) believes that community organizations have credibility, trust and access to potential voters who have often been underrepresented in the electoral process. MPP works to support and expand the capacity of Minnesota nonprofit organizations to effectively engage in permissible nonpartisan voter engagement efforts. (www.mncn.org/mpp)

Nonprofit Repositioning Fund
MCN has established the Nonprofit Repositioning Fund to ensure an effective response to emerging issues facing Minnesota’s nonprofit sector. Contributions will be dedicated to both strategic, long-term issues as well to meeting immediate challenges.
